Dr. John Boonenberg
Dr. John Boonenberg is a highly acclaimed pianist, conductor, organist, and vocal coach. His choirs, spanning all ages and levels of experience, have consistently been awarded top prizes in music festivals and competitions, and his work as a professional vocal coach has taken him to opera and song festivals around the world. As a concert pianist, he has won numerous national and international competitions, and maintains an active schedule of solo, chamber music, and concerto performances. Dr. Boonenberg is the Kreft Endowed Chair in Music at Concordia University—Ann Arbor, Director of Music at St. Paul Lutheran Church, and the Music Director of The Boychoir of Ann Arbor. Dr. Boonenberg holds degrees from The University of Michigan and The Juilliard School.
